St Peterís is built of greenstone, much patched and looking rather forlorn.

The tower is 15th century, and the nave arcade is 14th, but there have been many alterations, mainly in the 19th century.

Now privately owned, and no longer used as a church.

Church and churchyard overgrown.

Church interior glimpsed through one of the windows looks in poor condition.

The church was declared redundant in 1983.

Kelly's Directory of Lincolnshire 1919 states that

"The church of St. Peter is an ancient edifice of stone, in the Early English style, consisting of chancel, nave and a low western tower containing 3 bells :

the church plate was presented in 1730 by Mrs. Dymoke, of Scrivelsby :

there are 140 sittings:

the church has lately undergone restoration"

Date stone referring to the last major restoration in 1896.

Chancel east window, below the date stone, is probably of this date.

Rev. John Graham M.A. of Jesus College, Cambridge, and J.P. Lincs. was rector at this time which would fit with the initials.
