St Margaret's church was built in Perpendicular style (fifteenth century) and was extensively restored in 1871.

Attached to the north-east corner of the church was a small tower with broach spire covered in timber shingles.

Porch and south aisle, rebuilt in Perpendicular style in 1871.

The church is seen here in a serious state of decay. It was demolished in 1978 very shortly after the three photographs on this web page were taken.
