Externally, much of St Lawrence’s dates from the 14th and 15th centuries.
The inner doorway of the porch however is Norman and the interior of the church largely 13th century.
The 14th century tower once had a spire – destroyed in the 18th century.
The five-light east window of the chancel is 15th century.
On the east side of the transept is a reset 13th century lancet, while to the south is a 14th century window with reticulated tracery.
The chancel arches are late 13th century. To the south is an early 13th century piscina.
