At Jews' Court in 1992 the marriage ceremony was held between Clive Wolman and Anna Roden. This was the first Jewish wedding to be held on the site since medieval times.

Also in the photograph: the mothers of the married couple and Tom Baker, former Director of the Museum Service, City of Lincoln.

The collation of and packaging of magazine and papers for mailing to members is carried out each quarter by a team of volunteers. This shot shows them hard at work in 1997 when Douglas Boyce was in charge of the operation (though Douglas himself does not appear in the picture).

For several years SLHA sold refreshments in the upstairs meeting room over the Christmas Market weekend (this was 1998).

This was a popular spot for many visitors - a good cup of tea at a modest price, a relatively peaceful spot, and a chance to browse excellent new and second-hand books.

The sale of second-hand books at Jews' Court had a modest beginning. An initial donation of books was displayed at the back of the meeting room - seen here in 1999 with Don Dowson, who was the first volunteer in charge of them. (They moved downstairs to their present room in 2000.)

The bookshop at Jews' Court has become a significant source of income to the society; it operates as a business under the trading name of Lincolnshire Heritage Limited.

The first treasurer was Peter Young, seen here keeping the accounts in order in 1999.
