'Externally very muddled' according to Pevsner. The tower fell and was rebuilt around 1850. There is evidence of a former eleventh-century crossing tower. The Decorated south aisle has a rare vaulted roof. The chancel dates to around 1825. The nave contains many unrestored poppy-head bench ends.
