Kelly's Directory 1930 reports :-

"The church of St. Andrew is a small building of stone, of Saxon and Early Norman date, consisting of chancel, nave, vestry, west porch and a western turret containing one bell :

the chancel arch is a very early example, and previous to the alterations made about 1831, some of the original windows remained :

the arches of the south door and the blocked-up north door are also of very early date :

in 1895 the chancel was new-roofed and refloored, a new east window erected, and new oak pulpit, lectern and prayer desk furnished, under the direction of Mr. R Fowler, architect, of Louth :

in 1902 the nave was new-roofed and refloored, the windows reglazed, a circular window made at the west end and a west porch erected, and a new font was given by Mrs. Norton :

in 1903 benches of carved oak were provided for the chancel and an oak cover for the font, and a lych gate was erected :

the work was carried out under the direction of Mr. R. H. Fowler, architect, of Louth, and led to the discovery of three arches of Saxon date, constructed of sandstone :

the old churchyard cross and some stone carving belonging to the old church have been built into the exterior of the east end :

the church plate includes a chalice and paten of silver, dating from about 1620; there are 6o sittings"

White's Directory 1872 has :-

"The Church (St. Andrew), which consists of nave and chancel, with a gable belfry with one bell, is a small ancient fabric, containing 70 sittings.

The benefice is a rectory, valued in K.B. at £7, and now at £202 per annum, in the patronage and incumbency of the Rev. William Smith, who has a good rectory house, built in 1846, and 14 acres of glebe. He is also vicar of Keddington"

The interior of St Andrew's is a surprise - showing the church to be largely Norman, of the late 11th century.
