This seventeenth century house was built by Lord Bellasyse in red brick in the Artisan Mannerism style.

The house was pulled down in 1807 and this is the only known illustration.

For many years this 14th century effigy of a lady was in the church porch but is now laid on the windowsill in the vestry.

This Saxon font in St Clement's, Worlaby, was discarded in the early twentieth century and used as a garden tub for sixty years.

Worlaby St Clement ledger

This massive incised slab is thought to date from c 1325.  Until 2009 it was in the floor of the tower but it was taken up and conserved by Skillingtons before being re-displayed in a specially created section of the sanctuary.

Worlaby St Clement chancel south window

This window is by Lavers and Barraud. The text along the bottom edge says: ‘To the Glory of God and In memory of William and Thomas Hesseltine erected by their children AD1875.’ The Hesseltines lived at Worlaby Hall.

Worlaby's Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1858 and a Sunday school room added in 1927.

It closed in 1991 and the building is now in use as a store.
