St Pancras Wroot stands alone to the SE of the village, with wide views over the surrounding countryside.

The red brick church was built in 1878 on the site of earlier churches.

John Wesley was a curate to his father here from 1727 to 1729.

The church of St Pancras at Wroot was probably built by James Fowler of Louth.

St Pancras's church is built in dull red brick laid in English bond.

There is a dentillated brick string course and a lower band of blue brick. Dressings to windows doorway and bell openings are in limestone.

In the apex of the gable to the south vestry bricks have been laid diagonally, i.e. for decorative effect and having little structural value.
