This distinctive tower mill is one of the country's earliest.

Built in 1779, it has an unusual octagonal brick tower.

Some machinery of Sneath's Mill survives.

Attempts are being made to preserve it. It is Listed Grade I.

The Jolly Crispin is the last surviving pub in Lutton.

The early sixteenth century church of St Nicholas at Lutton is Grade I listed. It was restored in 1859.

Although not entirely clear in this photo, the church is built of brick with stone spire and dressings.

A striking fifteenth-century clerestory but the other windows were inserted in 1859.

The arches, mullions and drip moulds of the clerestory windows are of cut brick - the original construction - while the nineteenth-century nave window openings and tracery are of stone.

The words were cut into the bricks before firing.

In the foreground of this south-east view of the church is the war memorial, dedicated on 15 October 1922.

It was designed by Lt Col John Edward Dixon-Spain (brother of the vicar) and constructed by Messrs Charles Warrick of Long Sutton.
