The Marrowbone & Cleaver, he village pub at Kirmington, came up for sale in 2017 and was bought by Guy Martin for his sister Sally to run.

Guy Martin was born in Grimsby in 1981 and raised in Kirmington, He inherited a passion for racing motorbikes from his dad, an admirer of Guy Gibson. An enthusiast for all things mechanical, Guy has presented a number of television programmes on subjects including hovercraft and Spitfires

The Marrowbone & Cleaver was started in 1871 by T M Frankish, the village butcher, who named it to reflect his other occupation. It displays memorabilia about RAF Kirmington but also about Guy's racing career.

St Helen's church in Kirmington has an ironstone tower from the Early English period, topped by a copper spire of 1838. The rest of the building is mostly the work of S. S. Teulon in 1859.

The Decorated north arcade pier capitals are embellished with busts, heads & grotesques.
