The "Prims" opened a chapel here in 1838 and then rebuilt it on the same site in 1875.

The last service was held in 1972 and the building was sold later the same year and subsequently used as a store.

When visited in the mid-1990s the chapel had been gutted and was derelict and overgrown.

It is located at NGR TF 430 539.

The former chapel has been converted into a dwelling - like so many such buildings - and many of the original features have been retained.

Wrangle's Post Office is still in the building shown though it has been extended & is also a Costcutters store (as at Nov 23). The tree & lamppost in front have gone. The far end of the original building contains an Indian takeaway.

This is principally a perpendicular church but with older elements.

The south doorway is from the early English period with dog-ttoth and leaf cusps on the trefoiled entrance.

White's Directory of Lincolnshire 1872 states "The living was appropriated to Waltham Abbey in the reign of Henry II., and is now a vicarage, valued in K.B. at £9. 18s. 6d., and now at £868.

It is in the gift of Mrs. H. W. Wright, and is held by her son, the Rev. Richard Franklin Wright, M.A., who has a good vicarage house, erected in 1707"
