All Saints, Stapleford, was rebuilt in 1770 though medieval masonry was used for the tower.

Inside can be found a scalloped Norman capital and pillar piscina.

The tower of All Saints' church, rebuilt in 1770, contains medieval masonry and has two-light windows of the Decorated period.

The tiled pyramidal roof dates from the 1903-04 restoration by C H Fowler.

The nave and chancel are of the same height and width, built in red brick in 1770 by Cox, according to Pevsner. Who was Cox?

Some questions arise. The bricks in both nave and chancel appear to be of uniform date and source but while they are laid in a regular Flemish bond in the chancel, a much less regular Flemish Garden Wall bond is used in the nave. This suggests the nave and chancel may not have been built at the same time nor have been designed by the same architect.

The brick-built chancel and nave of the eighteenth century are built on stone foundations of the medieval church.

The windows of the nave are pointed; those of the chancel are round-headed with a keystone.

"The churchyard cross at Stapleford is a good example of the chamfered quadrangular base of a medieval standing cross.

Situated on the south side of the church, it is believed to stand in or near its original position.
